Debate about HCV prevalence in Switzerland

There is a second response to the controversial publication by Bertisch et al. 2023 on HCV epidemiology in Switzerland, which refutes some of the allegations in the last response by Bertisch et al. We remind you that the review by Bertisch et al. is not based on any new data. Until more solid data is available in Switzerland, we maintain our position that the WHO's elimination targets have not yet been achieved in Switzerland. Better surveillance is needed in order to make reliable statements. We will now conclude the discussion here.
